The training we provide is based on the science of Andragogy. Andragogy is the art and science of how to teach adults which is very different and often the opposite of the art and science of teaching children which is called Pedagogy. We all experienced pedagogy growing up when we went to school. However, in our trainings you are going to notice the use of a lot of different colors and evocative images, this is done to catch the attention of our visual learners. You will hear a lot of stories, parables, short catchy phrases, and music that resonates with our auditory learners. As well as games, experiential activities, and small group discussions to activate our kinesthetic learners. It’s well proven that if all I do is lecture to you like most trainers do, average retention after just a few days will be about 5-10% - that’s it! However, when we apply the principles of Adult Learning by having you discuss key learnings in small groups, practice it, and ultimately get participants to teach it or apply the learnings in real life we can expect up to 90% retention on those key learnings that were applied.


We offer two types of trainings: one targets general staff, while the other develops leaders. Although many of the titles are similar, the learning goals and approach is very different as one is designed to target the practical needs of a staff person, while the other the particular needs of a leader. Leadership Development Trainings
